In order to strengthen the construction of aesthetic education and labor education, alleviate students' academic pressure, enhance their hands-on ability, and stimulate their creative thinking, on April 22, the School of Materials Science and Engineering launched the first phase of the Creative Handicraft Workshop activity in the student community salon space of Building 2 of the Jade Lake Campus.
During the activity, the participating students learned basic inflation and knotting under the guidance of the staff, and then used various techniques such as twisting, folding, and inserting to weave colorful balloons into their favorite shapes, such as balloon puppies, balloon flowers, balloon swans, and other colorful styles. Not only that, students can also brainstorm creative combinations and assemblies of balloon shapes, making them more diverse and creating their own unique balloon shapes. While reaping happiness, the students also stimulated their creativity and gained a full sense of achievement. At the event site, students laughed and discussed with each other, creating a harmonious, friendly, childlike and interesting atmosphere.
This activity is one of the series of activities of the college's "Youth · Joyful Workshop", aimed at picking up the innocence of students, allowing them to relax in their busy studies, exercise creative thinking, and discover the small beauty in life, thereby promoting the mental health development of students.
