The Department of Materials Physics and New Energy Materials/Devices was established in 1999. The entire department has a teaching team with reasonable academic background and age structure, as well as a high level of teaching and research. Currently, there are 19 full-time teachers, including 8 professors, 7 associate professors, and 4 lecturers. One Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, one National Excellent Youth, and two Anhui Provincial Hundred Talents Program. The doctoral degree rate is 100%, with young teachers under the age of 45 accounting for about 80%. Mainly responsible for undergraduate teaching and talent development in the fields of Materials Physics, New Energy Materials and Devices.
