Department of Metal Materials Engineering-合肥工业大学材料科学与工程学院

The Department of Metal Materials Engineering was established in 1973. In 2012, it was the first material major in China to apply for and pass the engineering education certification of the Ministry of Education. In 2019, it was approved as one of the first national first-class undergraduate major construction sites. Our department has a professional teaching team with reasonable age, academic background, professional title, and educational structure. There are currently 23 full-time teachers, including 9 professors, 10 associate professors, and 4 lecturers. Two members of the Higher Education Materials Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, two certified experts in China's engineering education major, three new talents in the education industry in Anhui Province, and two members of the Anhui Provincial "Hundred Talents Plan". The doctoral rate of teachers is 100%, with young teachers under the age of 45 accounting for about 83%.
